The Drone Team cadets compete in local, regional & national competitions utilizing remote control piloted drones. They participate in skills competitions where one cadet is the blind-folded “pilot” and the other is the “navigator” providing commands to the “pilot” to guide the drone to a designated landing zone. Other competitions are piloting a drone through an “obstacle course” for time.

The 2021-22 academic year was the LPK NJROTC’s inaugural year! Our Drone Team was very competitive, placing very high at the regional competition.
